GLASSCREEN VIDEO TRANSFER

Every film fan who changes over to video sooner or later asks: What do I do with my films? Do I continue to use a projector and screen or do I show them on the TV? Just the thought of long-term safekeeping of valuable recordings or making copies for children, relatives or friends can be reason enough to transfer films to video.

Once you decide to transfer your films to video, another question comes up: Do I have them recorded (usually quite expensive), or do I copy my films myself using Glasscreen. With do-it-yourself video transfer, you have the advantage of being able to rearrange the films, transfer only the best scenes, or supplement them with slides. Nice background music can also add a special note to your video films. Slides and photographs can be made very lively, for example, with suitable texts in a subsequent musical setting.

Glasscreen was introduced years ago and has been positively tested in many trade magazines, almost without exception. The magazine “Camcorder& Co.” wrote, among other things, about the tricky hot-spot problem: “We were suitably skeptical when we checked out Braehler's advertising claim that its Glasscreen is free of grains and hot spots. The result was all the more surprising: no trace of grain; a hot spot can only be found in extreme cases. Light parts tend concentrically to “blooming”. The secret of the difference between Hamascreen and Glasscreen lies in the glass screen. While in Hamascreen’s case it consists of a simple, etched glass pane, more effort is made for Glasscreen. Here the glass screen is made of two glass panes enclosing a wax-paraffin layer. This extra effort that shows up in the picture quality.” This according to Camcorder& Co.
